He Reigns

Today was the first week in our Advent series at church.  We were celebrating the season with a day called: Begin the Procession, the Promise of  King.  A lot went on this morning: drama, musicians, singers, a drumline, a preschool kid's choir and Praise in Motion.  They danced in the closing song.  We did not have a good practice and couldn't hear what was going in because of the drums, the clapping and singing.  But, sitting in front of them, I got video that shows they roll with the punches and had a good time in the celebration.

Torrid October 15, 2008

Ashleigh, Alyssa, Jordan and Luke danced tonight for their middle school friends.  It is not easy to get up there in front of their peers, but they did it and did a fine job.  Sunday morning, they will do the same dance in the service with costumes and the worship band.  It is so much more inspirational in the auditorium with live music and costumes.

We had two dances ready this morning, but the schedule got changed and there was time for only one. ��It was the one we liked the best, Days of Elijah. ��It is a fun song, made especially great because the congregation dances along. ��It is so cool to look out and see people moving!

Unity

Psalm 133:1
1 How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!

Today, PIM danced to "How Good and Pleasant". In the spirit of unity, the praise team, several members of other teams, and the congregation joined in to sway and clap. It was great to look out and see the congregation moving with us!!! How good and pleasant it is when we dwell together in unity. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord!
